Dear Nicole and Gemma,
It is my duty to inform you in what really happens in the awesome class of Grade Seven. First of all Do Not laugh @ the word "Duty". In grade 7, there is a lot of jobs that we grade sevens do to give back to the school... For example Juice Boxes, Monitoring and taking charge @ School events. You guys might be wondering...
"What do the awesome & totally cool gr.7's do all day?" Well let me tell you, as leaders of the school we are really really busy.. At some points when were super bust we unfortunately have to skip some subjects...Which is good for us, however bad for Mr. D. Speaking of Mr. Dotto, He <3's style="font-weight: bold;">Unlucky person.
The Grade Seven class isn't all fun and games. Most of the time we have to be really focused at big events, we also have to be responsible. Gr.7 is the year of leadership. We got to show all the younger kids what to do and what to act at Church or School events. By doing something so irresponsible and mindless would just let the primary kids think its okay when it was clearly not.
Something so simple as lining up at the pole after recess can show leadership. And I know that my class FAILED at that, but I think your class has got a chance.
Religion was big thing this year...well of course we had our Confirmation. Socials was huge as well, first they was the Ancient City Night, where we had to make a model city and write a report as well......then there is Roman City Night.
Grade Seven is a tough year for us..I mean most of you guys been In St.Ed's since kindergarten and its your last year as a class together, so you wanna spend a lot of time together not as a class, but as a Family<3.....I realized that my class has gotten closer than before! back then we were kinda of in groups, and now were this one big family.........Did I mention that in Grade Seven you dont have to do handwriting! I know it's of topic, but that all we do here in Gr.7, we're always of topic....So Good Luck you guys and have fun becuz Gr.7 is an awesome year............
Sincerely,
Karissa A.

!!!!!!!TOP TEN BEST MOMENTS!!!!!!
Evan's Lake was so so so A-W-E-S-O-M-E-E-E! I had a great time there and it really sucks that its over =(. Although we still have our memories. And that's why it is
MY TOP TEN FAVORITE MOMENTS AT EVAN'S LAKE.
10. CABIN INSPECTIONS
The cabin Inspections were so fun because we had to do many different things to impress the teachers. For examples Mr.Dotto likes Pirates so we sent Julimei to buy some eye patches and swords and we did dramas for Miss.Grossi because she's the drama teacher that included the swords and eye patches for Mr.Dotto. Gemma also found some ways to get the teachers attention like cleaning their shoes or bribing them with FAKE money.
9. DECORATING THE CABIN
Decorating the cabin was as much fun as the cabin inspections. What we had to do was to decorate the cabin in a theme or just make it as homey as possible. And by doing that you get to spend time and get to know your cabin mates.
8. ARCHERY
Archery was so exciting, when I shot I felt like Paris of Troy for some reason. The reason why it's my 8Th best is because I truly sucked at it....Believe me I'm the worst....However at least I tried, None of my cousins have never EVER tried archery so I'm considered lucky...REAL lucky.
7. FLASHLIGHT TAG
MY TOP TEN FAVORITE MOMENTS AT EVAN'S LAKE.

7. FLASHLIGHT TAG
Flashlight tag was one of the highlight parts of the whole trip and it was totally awesome. What we had to do was to basically play tag in the dark with a flashlight. And at one part Jessica,Juliana,Kristopher and I had some VERY SCARY SCARY MOMENTS, and it the heck out of me!!!!
6. PLAYING BADMINTON AND VOLLEYBALL DURING FREE TIME
Now this was a blast! The whole day was super fun but this was the cherry on top with sprinkles because the days was just to tiring because of ALL THAT FUN!
5.HIKING
Hiking was so cool,we had a 2 hour hike going up some rocks and slants and yet that wasn't the most difficult hike I've ever had. During that hike I saw many cool things like a garden snake in its real habitat.
4.SKIT NIGHT
Skit Night was right before Flashlight Tag, and our last evening activity, and all the cabins were ggrrreeeaaaattttt (great). However ours sucked...Everybody did skits they were great, we did a remake of In the Jungle But Evan's Lake Style....POO I DON'T EVEN THINK THAT WAS IN THE JUNGLE!
3.EATING THE FOOD
OMJ!!!! The food at Evan's Lake was so so so so so so DELICIOUS...DANG I wanna go back there. We had things such as.....Chicken and Rice,Chicken Burgers,
Tortellini,pancakes,Waffles mmmmmm WAFFLES!
2.CANOEING
Sorry to repeating this again but OMJ. Canoeing was the best experience EVER!!! I go canoeing every summer but to experience it with my classmates that was cool.
AND FINALLY.......NUMMBAAAA OOONNNEEEE!!!!!
1. !!!!SLEEPING!!!!
This is probably unusual, but sleeping was my number 1 best moments because of all those activities and doing it again in the morning was exhausting....And I treasured every hour of sleep, even though I barely got any!
Well those have been my TOP TEN BEST MOMENTS OF EVAN'S LAKE...

!!Confirmation Retreat!!
National
Evangelists
Team
well i think???
Well on the 24th of March,we had our Confirmation Retreat, and let me tell you it was fun.We were able to a spiritual yet have an awesome day with my classmates! The NET people were friendly and funny. They did skits that were so hilarious, for example: give Betsey give the baby's gotta live! my favorite part was the Star Wars themed "Bless us O Lord" that was awesome I could do that prayer forever. But right after the awesomely fun things we did it started to get serious, spiritual, and to some tear jerking. It was the most perfect time to talk to god in a time of need.We had the opportunity to have a confession as well as a class mass. I totally thought that the retreat was a great experience and I really hope we get to do it again!

Safe as houses chp.10+11
1.In theses chapters Lizzie,David and Suzie react to Van Dykes house as it washed down the stream. Lizzie consoled Suzie after what Suzie saw what happened to Van Dykes house, and plus she was cold. They were all cold. After that David attempts to draw anybody to his flashlight, but it did not work because the light was to dim. While that happened something hit the house, which made Lizzie worried so she decided that they would have to leave to something else which were the
trees that have not snapped. Lizzie wondered if the river was going downstream which it was, but just for safety David threw his Sweater in the river to see which way. Lizzie offered to be first in the water just to be safe and David and Suzie came after. They found a tree for them to keep them out of the water. Suzie went first. Right after that the McBride house spun then crashed into trees
which none of them were on. The McBride house then washed down the river .
2. Lizzie is developing leadership, because of how shes leading David and Susie into safety. David is also developing Leadership, he is leading Suzie, and he's guiding her like what a big brother should do. And Suzie is developing confidence, because she is taking risks to follow David and Lizzie, which is leading to bravery.
3.Challenges to face is how to get home back Safely, without getting hurt,or go through some more adventure.
4.no villain, just water.....and no point because the book is done which leads he next me into the next question....

SPIRIT DAY 2009
This Saturday the St.Edmund's class of 2010 went to Spirit Dy 09 ,which was really, really ,really fun by the way, Anyway you get the point, we got to do many things like ice breakers, .There were even other schools there. And the acts were so good super duper good, and we got dinner...How awesome is that.
Once we first got there we were all headed to to blue gym were we found the spirit crew thingy. They were the people who would get us pumped up for Spirit day,and what we we did to get us pumped up was icebreakers, they were games again to get us pumped up, they were so fun. Some of the games we played were really weird and awkward but at the end they were full of excitement.
At Spirit day there was a lot of schools, A LOT, there was about 1200 grade sevens, 1200, that so many kids, but its a good thing that there was two days. One of the schools that we got along with was St.Pius, they were really nice. It almost felt like we were classmates and thats a good thing because most of them will be going to STA next year and they will eventually be our classmates.
Now the acts, the were SPECTACULAR ,they were so good first there was Matt Maher, who's a great Christian Rock artist, his songs are so awesome,my favorite is "Alive Again,"
The Other act was Gene and Brad, they were juggaling preachers. Their tricks looked very difficult, but to them it seemed like it was so easy..they dropped a few times but the crowd kept cheering, and clapping and maybe thats the reason why we were a bit late for dinner.
Dinner was my second favorite part about Spirit Day...you know why, because i like to eat we
had pasta mmmm..yum..so good, and it was a good thing that it was after Mass because mass ended
around 6:30 and thats when I eat my dinner at home.
Spirit day ended at 9 which sucked because i wanted it to keep going, and a wish we can do it a again!

Orange vs. Apple
A couple of days ago, my classmates and I were separated into two groups and had to be formed into two countries, Orange and Apple. Each country had to have a game, a language, and a have to have a word that you would say when you did not have anything else to say, and way more. And after that we would have to observe the similarities, and differences, and to learn how to play they're game, how to speak they're language which is the Apple culture.
The things that the countries Orange and Apple have in common is that they both have games that include cards, they both use only one word in each sentence, and they both had a words when they did not have anything to say which is ''WHOOP."
The Differences between the countries Orange and Apple are that Orange is more of a serious country and Apple is not, Apple is more of a physical country and Orange doesn't really liked to be touched. Another difference is that Orange is more serious than Apple, they also like to win, and that is the only time they are allowed to be happy. When Orange plays the game only men could confront women to play they're game, and women cannot play the game with other women, but men could play with other men.
What I have learned from that day, during that experience was that it was very hard to communicate back then because now we have translators, and that it is hard for other people from other cultures to adjust to new cultures for example homestay students they come here from their native lands and learn and observe our language, art, basically our culture, like what we did in the culture game.
When I first knew that we were gonna do a culture game I thought we were going to compete against each other, but really it was all about coming together, and learning how to learn each others culture.
